Family Day gets closer and closer every moment! Mark your calendar and bring your family and children to enjoy a day to remember!

Family Day will be running it's 10th Anniversary on Sunday, September 26th, 2010!

Family Day offers many things for you and your family to enjoy, such as pony rides, face painting, an Antique Fair and more!

BE A PART OF IT In addition to the six exciting steeplechase races, Foxfield hosts activities including pony rides, Jack Russell Terrier Races, a race course walk, bagpipers, The FoxDen Children’s Activities Tent, the Foxfield Antiques Fair coordinated by Kenny Ball, and other exciting events to be announced. All activities are included in the price of admission. Children 8 and under are free of charge. Tickets go on sale August 1st. Sponsorships and tent reservations on sale now.


SPONSORSHIP As a sponsor of the races, the money you commit goes directly to the purse structure of the races, therefore attracting the top steeplechase horses from around the country. In return you receive a tent in the business sponsor section to receive your guests, advertising, and promotional opportunities. Implementing the latest networking venues, Foxfield is increasing sponsors’ advertising benefits, longevity, and flexibility. You will have access to website, magazine, newspaper, radio and television advertising, that begins with your commitment, and ends 2-4 weeks after race day. We can custom fit a sponsorship package to fit your needs and give you the most value for your advertising dollar.

SOUTH HILL, CHALET TENTS, AND CLUB TENTS Three tent areas are available in the Fall for businesses, clubs, community groups, families and friends. South Hill is the most exclusive and private area with a beautiful view of the race track and parking at the tent. The Chalet Tents are close to all of the children’s activities, have parking at the tents and a good view of the racecourse. The Club Tents, offered in the Fall only, are for smaller groups. The tents are on the rail witha few parking places nearby and the rest in Invitation Parking. All tent areas can be serviced by our list of Foxfield Licensed Caterers, or you can bring the food and drink with you. Please refer to the contract for cost and receivables. Again, we can tailor a package to fit your needs. This is a great alternative to the “office Christmas party” and a wonderful way to entertain your friends and family including the children.


The Foxfield Fall Race Meet is family friendly. There are no concerns regarding alcohol or traffic, and the students do not attend the Fall Race Meet. However, if you are 21 or over, and in a Virginia traditiontion, you may share a cocktail along with your picnic lunch, as you watch the magnificent horses run.
